ProFlix – Terms of Service

Welcome to ProFlix ("ProFlix," "Platform," "we," "us," "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ProFlix website, mobile experience, and creator tools (the "Service").
By using ProFlix, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
1. About ProFlix
ProFlix is a digital learning and creator-driven streaming platform where:
- Viewers can watch educational videos (free or Premium)
- Creators can upload content and earn revenue
- Models, Photographers, UGC Creators can appear in the Directory
- Users can browse/post Jobs and Events
- Creators can receive payouts via Stripe Connect
2. Eligibility
You must:
- Be at least 13 years old (18+ to earn money)
- Provide accurate registration information
- Comply with all applicable laws
- Not misuse or overload the platform
Creators earning money must complete Stripe Connect onboarding.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login
- All activity under your account
- Updating accurate information
- Not sharing accounts
We may suspend or terminate for policy violations.
4. Paid Subscriptions
Viewer Premium ($12/month)
Premium viewers receive:
- Ad-free viewing
- Directory access
- Ability to view/post Jobs & Events (posting costs extra)
Subscriptions renew automatically every 30 days until canceled.
Creator Plan ($97/month)
Required for creators uploading videos unless designated a "Founding Creator." This plan unlocks:
- Unlimited uploads
- Monetization
- Analytics
- Creator dashboard
All subscriptions are processed through Stripe.
5. Job & Event Posting Fees
Posting fees:
- Standard Job: $5
- Premium Job: $20
- Standard Event: $5
- Premium Event: $20
Posting fees are non-refundable and not part of the creator revenue pool.
6. Affiliate Program
Creators may receive recurring commissions for referrals.
Founding Creators earn:
- 50% lifetime recurring commission on referrals to the $97 Creator Plan
Standard Affiliates earn:
- 25% lifetime recurring commission
Affiliate misuse, fraud, or spam voids commissions and removes affiliate status.
7. Creator Revenue & Payouts
Creators earn:
- 75% of Premium viewer watch-time revenue
- 75% of ad revenue from free viewers
- 75% of paid question revenue
- 75% of portfolio review revenue
- Revenue from paid videos (per platform rules)
Payouts:
- Occur monthly
- Use Stripe Connect
- Require successful account verification
We do not store bank data.
8. Content Rules
Creators must not upload:
- Copyright-infringing content
- Pornography
- Harassment, hate, or violence
- Dangerous or misleading content
- Deepfakes without consent
- Spam or low-value content
We may remove content at our discretion.
9. Directory Listings
Models, photographers, and UGC creators may create listings.
Listings are:
- Free to create
- Only visible with an active Premium subscription
- Not allowed to contain explicit content
- Not allowed to solicit illegal services
We provide links only; no internal messaging is offered.
10. Jobs & Events Marketplace
Users must ensure postings are:
- Accurate
- Legal
- Safe
- Not misleading
Off-platform interactions are solely between users.
11. Refunds
All payments are non-refundable unless required by law:
- Premium subscriptions
- Creator Plan
- Job/Event posting fees
- Paid questions
- Portfolio reviews
- Video purchases
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for:
- Fraud
- Abuse
- Harassment
- Chargebacks
- Illegal activity
- Affiliate program misuse
13. Disclaimers
ProFlix is provided "as is." We do not guarantee:
- Earnings
- Creator success
- Continuous uptime
- Perfect performance
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted: ProFlix is not responsible for:
- Loss of data
- Lost earnings
- Business interruption
- Off-platform interactions
- Damages arising from misuse or user actions
15. Changes to Terms
We may update Terms at any time. Continued use = acceptance.
